Throughout the year Wels offers a rich and varied programme of cultural events. Seize the opportunity while you are in town and visit one of the city’s many events – there is bound to be something to suit your taste.

CONCERTS

There are two venues right next to the trade fair area that are home to numerous concerts - the Stadthalle hosts smaller acts while the Boschhalle frequently presents big shows and stars such as Lord of the Dance or singer Udo Jürgens.

THEATRE

The Stadttheater theatre is only a few minutes’ walk from the hotel. It stages classical works by famous writers as well as classical concerts. The Round Table 6 concert series is especially popular. The Schlosshof also offers a varied programme – enjoy jazz, political satire, chamber music or traditional local shows in this scenic location.

Another cultural highlight not to be missed is the annual Richard Wagner Festival.
