Wels Golf Club

The golf club in Weißkirchen is only a short drive from Wels. The landscape creates the special charm of this golf course: natural hills, eight ponds and the Weyer stream, which has to be played over twice, ensure an interesting round of golf.

The par 72 golf course in Weyerbach near Wels is only 7 kilometres outside the town. The attractive, hilly location makes for a particularly varied game on the 18 hole course. The first nine holes on the course are on a level with the clubhouse. They are all on one level and are therefore ideal for a short game of golf. The other nine holes of the Wels Golf Course require a bit more fitness and stamina.
The eight ponds and the Weyerbach stream, that you have to play over twice, also present a challenge. In the summer season, between the start of April and the beginning of November wonderful summer greens invite you to play a round. The course is also open in the winter for true golf devotees.

Golf lessons at Wels Golf Club

Fine tune your game and technique – at Wels Golf Club you can do that on the large driving range, on the six covered tees, on the putting green, on the pitching green as well as the practice bunker. Beginners are also welcome to come and learn how to play golf. A golf school led by head pros David Mallison and Gary Purdue welcomes its visitors.

After a strenuous game finish off the day in the clubhouse. There is an excellent restaurant and a spacious clubroom in the building which is built in the country house style.
