Kremsmünster Abbey was founded in 777 AD and is among Upper Austria’s most renowned attractions. The treasure chamber contains the legendary Tassilo chalice. It also boasts one of Austria’s most beautiful and extensive libraries and a remarkable collegiate church.

St. Florian’s Priory, located close to Linz in the town of the same name, is the largest baroque monastery in Austria. Still a place for prayer for Augustinian Friars today, it also attracts pilgrims from all over the world. The monastery was first mentioned in the 8th century and then significantly expanded in 1071. It is also well-known for the ‘Brucknerorgel’, an organ that was used by the famous Upper Austrian composer Anton Bruckner, who worked there as an organist.Für weitere Informationen steht unser Rezeptionsteam gerne zur Verfügung.
