Throughout the year Wels offers a wide variety of events for all tastes. They range from cultural and sports events to markets and fairs, as well as the city’s fun fair.

The FILMFESTIWELS film festival on the Minoritenplatz takes place from mid-June to early August, the SHOPPING NIGHT in early June and the RICHARD WAGNER FESTIVAL in late May – not to mention all the exciting concerts and events in venues such as the Alter Schl8hof cultural centre, the MedienKulturhaus and the Alte Sparkasse.
